Q   –  Do I really need to bother taking out insurance?

  –  This is up to you, but we strongly suggest that you consider it as your goods will be exposed to a higher risk of 

              loss/damage than when they are inside the home.   

Q   –  Do I need to insure everything?

  –  That is up to you. If you decide to insure only specific items, anything that is not on the list will not be covered.

Q   –  Really, it’s not likely there will be any damage or loss to my goods is it?

  –  Despite all the care and expertise we take, accidents can still happen and some things are outside our control.

             We will endeavour to ensure there is no loss or damage, but we do recommend you take out insurance.

Q   –  How much space in a furniture removal truck?

  –  Big Removalist Specialist use a number of different vehicles to be sure you get the right furniture truck for your job.

Q   –  How long will my furniture take to get there?

  –  Local moves usually happen on one day. If you’re moving interstate or moving overseas, transit times depend on 

             your destination, freight method, volume and availability.

Q   –  How much does a furniture removalist cost”?

  –  That depends on how far you’re moving and the level of service you need. Some furniture removalists charge by 

              the hour and some also give a set price.

Q   –  How long before should i book a furniture removalist?

  –  As soon as you know you’ll be moving. The earlier you book, the better your chances of moving on the day you prefer.

Q   –  Does everything covered by my Warranty need to be wrapped?

  –  Any item worth more than $300 that the drivers believe may be damaged in the move will need to be protected to 

             be covered by the Warranty.

Q   –  Will I have to pay an excess if I have a claim?

  –  Yes , the Customer Goods in Transit and Storage Insurance does have an excess which is set out in the PDS.

Q   –  Do I need a third man?

  –  The 3rd man is important to be there for the big moves also with the third man your move will be performed a lot 

              quicker saving you money overall.

Q   –  Do you transport our pets?

  –  We do not transport pets. Ideally, pets and plants travel best in your own car.

Q   –  Do you move our plants?

  –  If your plants are very dear to you, we suggest you take them with you. Therefore, we suggest you not to move your 

             plants unless you absolutely cannot leave them behind. The VIP-Moving is not liable for plants.

Q   –  How long will my move take?

  –  Our guys are fast, fit, and efficient and will do the job as quickly and safely as they possibly can. They are highly experienced

              and have been working with us for some time. They use their skills and experience to make your move go smoothly.

Q   –  Do you sell moving packing materials?

  –  Yes, We have everything you need for self packing. We also offer full packing services. From boxes to bubble wrap,

              the materials you need are available at our warehouse at competitive prices.

Q   –  Can I pick up my boxes?

  –  Yes you can pick up the boxes from our office, also let us know if you require more boxes and we can deliver all the

              boxes you need into the collection date.

Q   –  What if I damage or lose a box?

  –  Any damaged or missing boxes will incur a replacement cost.

Q   –  Can I buy boxes?

  –  Yes you can buy boxes from us Do you move companies, warehouses, offices etc..? Yes we are specialist in any 

             moving such as: houses, offices, companies, warehouses etc…

Q   –  Do you service businesses?

A   –  Yes, simply give us a call and we will tailor a package suited to your needs.

Q   –  Can I change my delivery date?

  –  Of course, Simply contact us we can re-schedule your delivery to the date that suits you best.

Q   –  How do I pay? 

A   –  Simply by Cash, MasterCard or Visa Card.

Q   –  Will I receive a tax receipt?

A   –  Yes, a tax receipt is emailed to you immediately upon receipt of payment.
